Executive Director
search for
Tockwotton on the Waterfront , a senior care community in East Providence, Rhode Island! Tockwotton on the Waterfront has a gorgeous campus overseeing the Providence River, providing senior living services such as Assisted Living, Memory Care, Short Term Rehab, Long-Term Care, and Respite Stays. They provide the perfect blend of care, compassion, and health services.
This Executive Director is responsible for the overall campus success, overseeing the daily operations of the
Tockwotton on the Waterfront
campus.
The primary responsibilities are:
Foster the mission and values of Tockwotton on the Waterfront, as per
The Tockwotton Philosophy , in carrying out the duties of this position; nurture this mission and vision throughout the organization.
Direct the management of the day-to-day operation of the Community with respect to budgetary guidelines and the achievement of optimum levels of care.
Direct all financial operations, including budget preparation and monitoring, issuing of financial reports and administering the wage and benefit program.
Responsible with the Board of Directors for strategic planning, coordination and integration of all such plans into the operations of Tockwotton.
Support the fund development efforts of the Board of Directors.
Supervise and direct the department heads of medical, nursing, and ancillary staff. Responsible for hiring, termination, and performance of department heads.
Assure appropriate orientation, training and continuing education of staff.
Maintain positive resident and family relations.
Maintain active involvement in relevant professional and community organizations.
Function as Plan Administrator for the Organization's Defined Contribution Plan.
Direct the organizations ongoing marketing effort.
Qualifications:
Currently licensed as a Rhode Island Nursing Home Administrator.
Master's Degree in Health Care Management or related field, preferred. Appropriate experience may substitute for an advanced degree.
Minimum three years senior administrative experience in a health care facility.
Exhibit and understand the compassion of older adults and their families as they experience the challenges of their changing lives.
Interact effectively with Board of Directors and committees.
Demonstrate knowledge of health care finance and health care reimbursement.
