Position: Counterintelligence Analyst
Clearance: Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance w /SCI is required and current within the last five years
Work Location: Arlington, VA
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday onsite (Regular Full-time)
Work authorization: United States (Required)
Position Summary
The Counterintelligence (CI) Analyst must possess a Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience, or 6 years of related experience without a degree. The ideal candidate will have expertise in understanding the Intelligence Community, Insider Threat methodologies, CI indicators, and competitive intelligence practices. This role requires a proactive approach in detecting, assessing, and countering intelligence threats, with a strong ability to analyze, report, and collaborate with team members across various projects. The CI must have a current Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information. You must be able to work onsite in Arlington, VA.
Duties shall include, but are not limited to the following:
- Identify, assess, and neutralize intelligence collection, sabotage, and terrorist activities.
- Evaluate foreign intelligence and counterintelligence threats and their implications on agency programs.
- Plan and execute analytical projects, defining objectives, timelines, data needs, and resources.
- Research and analyze data in response to client needs, preparing reports with findings and actionable recommendations.
- Support Program Managers (PMs) and security staff in Program Protection and OPSEC (Operational Security) plans.
- Conduct CI threat assessments for sensitive projects and assist in developing protective measures for critical program information.
- Review and provide recommendations on program protection policies, assessing potential CI-related issues.
- Perform analyses of international political and military responses to program actions, proposing risk mitigation strategies.
- Deliver CI awareness briefings to agency personnel and leadership.
- Collaborate with DoD and federal CI agencies to enhance CI programs and share actionable intelligence.
- Conduct short-notice contingency analyses, offering recommended actions for CI-related scenarios.
- Work closely with program teams to develop solutions for unique CI challenges.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 4+ years of CI experience, or 6+ years of relevant experience without a degree.
- Proven experience with Special Access Programs (SAP)
- Deep understanding of the Intelligence Community and Insider Threat methodologies.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with high levels of responsibility and discretion.
- Available to work before/after typical office hours as work may demand
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Excellent briefing and technical writing skills
- Impeccable customer service skills
- Read, speak, and understand the English language fluently
- Expert experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe tools and systems to include Excel, Project, Teams, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Complete a security screening interview
- The employee must maintain clearance, eligibility throughout employment.
- Must meet client suitability
