Overview: The HRIS Analyst is responsible for the administration, programming and maintenance of MCU’s HR systems.

Responsibilities:

Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Manages and maintains optimal function of the HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
  • Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
  • Collaborates with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.
  • Maintain employment records; assist in preparation and processing of payroll meeting all deadlines.
  • Assist with processing of new hires, terminations, and employee changes;
  • Assists with recordkeeping related to hiring, termination, leave, transfer, and promotion particularly as related to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and diversity initiatives.
  • Prepares reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership.
  • Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist with conducting audits to ensure HR compliance.
  • Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
  • Perform other related duties as requested and special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration preferred.
  • At least three years of experience in HRIS.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS, payroll, and similar employee management software.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal laws involving employment and HR standard policies.
  • Ability to perform in a high-volume environment and meet deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Technologically proficient.

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000/ Annually
