Overview/ Job Responsibilities
Sev1Tech is looking for an IT Project Manager - Junior to play a role on a very large program involving network, cybersecurity, and cloud operations and engineering support services to a government customer with a significant mission for security and public safety. The program will encompass a wide range of tasks across Program Management; Monitoring, Analysis and Incident Response; Tier 3 Engineering and O&M; and Field Engineering technical support. Work will be executed in the National Capital Region, in Stennis, Mississippi; Chandler, Arizona; and other locations in the U.S and occasionally OCONUS. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Assist more experienced project managers in planning and tracking project tasks Support cost management activities across the project life-cycle Develop project schedules Track and report on project milestones Coordinate quality reviews of contract deliverables Document, track, and report on risks Ensure that any administrative support required by project teams is provided Work with customers to prioritize operations tasks and engineering projects Provide routinely scheduled reports to senior managers on task and project performance Work closely with the PMO team to maintain visibility of all NOSC tasks and projects Support the development of briefings and presentations for customers Support the development of documentation on NOSC policies, SOPs, and Best Practices Provide updates on NOSC policies, SOPs, and Best Practices to the PMO team Track deliverables Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security or equivalent education required At least 2 (two) years of experience in federal contracting Experience working as part of a PMO Experience on at least one federal contract involving IT Operations and Engineering Highly effective organizational skills Exemplary people skills, demonstrated through interactions with contractor personnel and customers Ability to multi-task effectively Understanding of ITIL practices Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Superior written and verbal communication skills Clearance Requirement: Public Trust clearance or higher; Public Trust clearance with Dept of Homeland Security (DHS) or Customs & Border Protection (CBP) preferred Desired Qualifications
Ability to obtain a PMP certification Some experience on NOC and or SOC contracts Previous experience with DHS Experiencing developing Agile processes Experience leading small project teams Experience on projects applying Agile practices Experience working with Jira and ServiceNow About Sev1Tech LLC
