Overview/ Job Responsibilities

Sev1Tech is looking for the Technical Project Manager (Mid-level) to play a role on a very large program involving network, cybersecurity, and cloud operations as well as infrastructure engineering support services to a government customer with a significant mission for security and public safety.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Provide end-to-end leadership from project planning through project closeout, including cost, schedule and risk management, for IT projects within scope of the customers Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC) initiativeIdentify strategic milestones with customer stakeholdersCreate work packages tied to milestones, identify dependencies, and schedule workProvide technical direction to guide project team executionManage critical project dependenciesCommunicate project status internally to senior management and externally to customersTrack and manage IT project spend against budgetsProvide technical expertise and data to support customer decision-making on solution alternatives and other investmentsTask and oversee Junior Project Managers as neededCommunicate priority staffing needs to senior managementPro-actively identify issues and risks and escalate to senior management as necessaryProvide data for ad hoc data calls generated internally or by customersEnsure project team adherence to quality and other standardsProvide internal consulting, technical guidance, information and support to Tier 2 and Tier 3 analysts and engineersMinimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related degreeMinimum of four (4) years of experience as a Technical Project ManagerAt least three (3) years of experience in federal contractingKnowledge and experience applying project management best practicesExperience on NOC and or SOC and Infrastructure Engineering contractsExperience on projects involving Agile and DevOps processesExemplary people skills, demonstrated through interactions with contractor personnel and customersAbility to multi-task effectivelyUnderstanding of and some experience overseeing implementation of ITIL practicesExperience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookSuperior written and verbal communication skillsExperience leading small project teamsExperience on projects applying Agile practicesExperience working with Jira and ServiceNowExperience on projects involving one or more of the following technologies: Akamai; Axonius; CA PAM (transitioning to CyberArk); CA Spectrum; CoreLight; Cisco Any Connect; Cisco Prime; Cisco Viptela; Crowdstrike; DynaTrace; ForeScout; Forward Networks; Grafana; Gigamon; INFOBLOX; NetScout; Nessus/Tenable; Nutanix; Palo Alto Global Protect; Palo Alto Panorama; Splunk; Swimlane; Zscaler Client Connector; Zscaler Internet Access; Zscaler Private AccessClearance Requirement: Public Trust clearance or higher; Public Trust clearance with Dept of Homeland Security (DHS) or Customs & Border Protection (CBP) preferredDesired Qualifications

Previous experience with DHSPMP CertificationExperience creating, tracking, and reporting on performance metricsITIL CertificationOne or more network and or security Certifications
