Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Analyst to join our team and support the tracking, organization, and management of materials and products throughout our production process. The ideal candidate will work closely with the purchasing manager to maintain inventory accuracy, assist with inventory counts, manage the Kanban system, and ensure the smooth flow of materials to meet production demands.
A brief overview of key responsibilities includes, but is not limited to:
Inventory Counting & Tracking:
- Assist with counting and tracking raw materials to ensure stock levels meet production requirements.
- Count RTS (Return to Stock) products and parts at different stages of production to maintain accurate inventory records
- Participate in end-of-month and end-of-year inventory counts, which may require occasional weekend availability.
- Utilize the Sage 100 software platform to monitor inventory levels, manage stock replenishment, track material usage, and generate reports that support effective inventory control and production planning.
Kanban Management and Inventory Maintenance
- Oversee and manage the Kanban system to maintain optimal inventory levels, ensuring that supplies are replenished efficiently to avoid production delays.
- Monitor Kanban cards and signals, adjusting reorder points as necessary to keep up with demand fluctuations.
- Assist in maintaining the inventory within the parts cage, ensuring parts are readily available for production needs.
- Help with coordination and tracking of all parts across various production stages.
Collaboration & Coordination:
- Communicate with the purchasing manager to verify inventory levels, control the flow of supplies, and address any discrepancies.
- Support the organization of purchased products and RTS products, helping to maintain a well-organized inventory.
Additional Duties:
- Perform any other tasks as assigned, supporting various aspects of inventory and production as required.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience with or knowledge of Kanban systems in inventory management is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends for inventory counts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software is desired.

This position is an off-shift schedule, which includes late afternoon, evening, or overnight hours. While shift start and end times can be adaptable, candidates should be aware that the assigned work will be during non-traditional hours to support production needs and ensure inventory accuracy across all shifts
