Join Our Team
The Director of Business Development is responsible for contacting, educating, and managing new customer/client relationships. They will focus on strengthening relationships with new clients and generating exclusive partnerships to continue to grow the business. The Director of Business Development is a highly visible, entrepreneurial role and a key lead in driving the sales strategy for new accounts directly, as well as through matrixed internal and external relationships. The position will focus on driving new customer acquisition through personal interactions with current or developed networks of executive leaders in various healthcare settings, including behavioral health and addiction treatment. The ideal candidate must be able to work with various levels within the company both up and downstream, and within customer/client organizations. They must have knowledge of the industry from both operational and sales perspectives. Creative and analytic abilities, high energy, self-motivation, persistence, a positive outlook, and the ability to focus on a specific strategy are essential to success. The role requires professional presentation skills and executive presence. Understanding of target and existing accounts and strategy in decision-making processes are required.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent years of relevant experience
Requires 3+ years relevant experience in business and strategic development
A thorough understanding of healthcare workforce solutions and services markets
Proven sales experience, with an established network of possible clients and partners
Self-motivated and able to work with short deadlines and competing demands
Ability to think, plan and sell strategically
Possess a consultative, customer centric selling philosophy
Demonstrate the ability to build alliances and influence key decision makers, both internally and externally, without formal authority
Managing customer relationships through creative problem solving and customer savvy
Self-starter who requires minimal degree of direct management
Prior experience in contract management services
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Efficient organizational skills
Poised and sharp presentation skills
Responsibilities
Build and develop relationships with new and existing clients, including executive senior leadership. Act as a liaison and point of contact with customers. Determine strategies and expand customer base
Work closely with Senior leadership, including the CEO, to maintain and grow the pipeline by improving and creating new revenue generating strategies
Responsible for meeting revenue targets and growth goals
Identify, create, and execute business strategies that provide the business an opportunity to grow revenue and move into new strategic markets
Contribute to business planning activities, such as developing win themes, monitoring the pipeline, overseeing bid development, creating division priorities, and supporting proposal pursuits and reviews
Serve as a business development leader across the organization, providing support to personnel as needed. Includes leading and mentoring business development team, hiring additional talent, and fostering a collaborative team environment
Drive activities in a manner that increases brand awareness, product presence and revenue generation for all products and services
Process leadership from contact through strategy, proposal, presentation and successful conclusion
Develop knowledge base to ensure proposal compliance and guiding the internal approval process (i.e.: contract requirements)
Research and analyze prospect/client goals and objectives
Demonstrate how our company's capabilities meet identified needs and enable success
Network proactively using traditional and social media methodologies to build high, wide and deep relationships in target accounts
Proactively manage territory by developing territory plans and building a pipeline of target accounts to meet current and future growth objectives
