Earth Finance is hiring an Analyst or Senior Analyst to support our growing business. We prefer this associate to be based in New York, NY or Seattle, WA.

What you’ll do:

Project Execution

• Serve as a project engagement’s primary researcher - leveraging a resourceful attitude to support the team with applicable knowledge and data directly tied to client project objectives.
• Deploy critical thinking skills to evaluate and analyze relevant information from extraneous detail.
• Cultivate written communication skills to synthesize information into meaningful content.
• Ability to quickly and effectively move from one task to the next.
• Ask pointed questions and/or raise issues to the team.

Internal Projects

• Support market research for business development.
• Conduct research for Thought Leadership development.
• Support building materials for Earth Finance’s Learning Agenda and wider team development.

Skills you’ll need to be successful in the role:

• 1 – 3 years professional experience
• A passion for, and experience with, the intersection between climate change and corporate strategy
• Familiarity with and understanding of global sustainability standards and frameworks such as the GHG Protocol, SBTi, RE100, ISSB, TCFD, TNFD, and PRI (among others)
• Interest in or experience with Climate Tech a plus
• Quantitative analysis and financial modeling skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment with client partners.
• Comfort with ambiguous, ever-changing situations and the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Commitment to continuous learning, curiosity, and ability to be resourceful when identifying solutions to complex problems.
• Willingness to travel.
• Outstanding performance during an undergraduate degree program, preferably with exposure to climate, sustainability, business, public affairs or related fields.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary range for this role is $90,000 - $120,000. Title and salary offered will be commensurate with your experience, plus performance-based bonus and equity options.
