promote the Bank’s brand, mission and services in the local community and ensure the branch staff is aligned with the efforts to deliver an exemplary experience for our customers, regardless of the delivery channel. They coach and lead staff to attain goals and objectives within the branch and ensure the office is in compliance with operating policies and procedures as well as outside regulatory requirements.Essential Duties:Leads, develops and coaches the branch staff to provide exemplary customer service; inclusive in meeting all aspects of the financial needs of customers and the community.Coaches the branch and ensures that all customer services are being met, customer problems are resolved, sales objectives are met and standard operating procedures are followed.Promotes the Bank’s brand and mission in the community by coordinating regular and consistent outreach efforts business development/community calls. Effectively promote Bank’s products and services within the community. Participates in networking events.Works with management in establishing growth, sales, and profit objectives for the office; provides input to these objectives and to the manner in which performance will be measured and controlled.Ensures that the branch office is properly staffed.In conjunction with the Assistant Branch Manager, makes certain that all office operations are performed in accordance with established Bank policies and procedures, either directly or through appropriate supervisor, e.g., office balancing, control of vault cash, etc.Maintains prescribed security controls.Counsels customers and prospective customers on the Bank’s loan products; takes retail loan applications; and closes loans.Prepares audit responses.Implements strategies to achieve goals assigned to the office as established in the Retail Banking Division's annual operating plan; adheres to budget parameters.Directly supervises assigned personnel as follows:Manages the selection of new employees.In conjunction with the Regional Branch Administration Manager, coordinates the proper orientation and training of new hires.Monitors and reviews employee performance on an ongoing basis. Bachelor’s degree in a related field normally required.Skill(s):
Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills; highly proficient in sales and in customer relationship development; demonstrated management skills to lead, train and develop branch staff; a thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of all bank products and services; a working knowledge of bank operating policies and procedures; strong understanding of loan documentation; moderate PC skills; proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.Experience:
A minimum of five (5) years of branch leadership experience is normally required. Demonstrated ability and willingness to conduct business development calls within the community.Physical Requirements:
