Overview
TRC is seeking a Channel Sales Executive with a proven ability to win new business, grow revenue from new and existing clients and promote adoption of our industry leading software. This role will be responsible for developing go-to-market and target marketing strategies for TRC's Salesforce partnership, executing sales to new and existing clients in target markets, creating channel partner strategies and developing strategic relationships. This role will lead the broader GTM team in strategy, planning, and execution for product sales related to Salesforce partner accounts. Candidates must be highly motivated and possess demonstrated communication and collaboration skills to be successful in our team-based program. As a TRC Channel Sales Executive, the candidate will be responsible for expanding and growing customers for Lemur, TRC's GIS enabled mobility platform. Successful candidates will demonstrate a proven track record of success in selling enterprise software/solutions and have strong relationships within both the Energy and Utility industry as well as Salesforce. This role will require a minimum travel of 50%; otherwise can be based in locations across the US.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets. Collaborate with TRC's Salesforce channel partner to drive sales within the Energy and Utility Market. Conduct market research to identify potential clients and gather insights on industry trends and competitive landscapes related to Salesforce and the utility industry. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within the Salesforce organization. Collaborate with GTM teams to customize solutions that align with the specific needs and requirements of prospective clients. Deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value of our combined Salesforce and TRC solutions. Negotiate and close deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both parties. Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports to senior management. Accurately forecast Salesforce related opportunities based upon realistic assessments. Meet/exceed assigned revenue goals. Aid in the management of TRC/Salesforce demo environments. Work with the TRC Product Management team to chart the future course of combined TRC and Salesforce offerings. Work with TRC Locana marketing teams to further awareness of the joint TRC Locana/Salesforce solution across multiple vertical markets.
Qualifications
10+ years experience selling enterprise software. 5+ years experience with Salesforce Field Service Management Software. Recent experience selling to the U.S based Electric Utilities. Self-starter / able to work independently, but also a contributing member of a team. Successful in finding and uncovering new opportunities with prospects and existing customers. Consultative sales experience and challenging customers to think differently. Own and manage the entire sales process and cycle from prospecting to invoicing. Proven track record of exceeding goals and quota. Consistent track record of success in consultative sales environments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A logical and analytical thinker. Demonstrated negotiation skills. Strong technical aptitude; Strong computer skills - Word, Excel and Salesforce.com / CRM systems a plus. Exceptional organizational skills with the proven ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks to meet deadlines. Strong attention to details. Highly motivated and professional, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Minimum travel of 50%
