Job Description

Job Summary:

The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating forklifts and push-pull equipment to load and unload trucks, prepare shipment paperwork, and maintain cleanliness in the warehouse.&

This role includes assisting with pallet stacking, using a stretch wrapper, and ensuring compliance with safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).&

The Forklift Operator will also support the foremen in various assigned duties while adhering to company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts and push-pull equipment to load and unload trucks
Prepare and distribute accurate shipment paperwork
Lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Operate a sweeper to maintain warehouse cleanliness
Stack and restack pallets as needed
Assist with the operation of a stretch wrapper
Support foremen in assigned tasks and ensure compliance with safety/work rules and GMPs

Required Qualifications:

Knowledge of forklift operations and push-pull equipment
Basic math skills and a good attendance record
Ability to speak, read, and write English; bilingual skills are a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of bill of lading

Physical Requirements:

Ability to walk, sit, or stand for extended periods
Willingness to work in environments with varying temperatures and noise levels
Ability to lift, stoop, climb, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
Flexibility to work occasional weekends, holidays, and off-hours for emergencies
