We are now accepting resume/applications for an EXPERIENCED Forklift Operator for the Thibodaux, LA & surrounding area. Duties/Responsibilities may/may not be limited to the following:

  • Job Scope:
    • Responsible for operating and managing industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, into railroad cars or trucks or storage facilities.
    • MUST have experience with stand up and sit down forklifts
  • Duration of Job: Temp to Hire
    • Based on Job Performance
  • Position Requirement:
    • MUST have forklift certification
    • High school diploma or GED is required.​​​​​
    • Must be able to pass physical
    • Must be able to pass drug screen
    • Must be able to pass background check
  • Required Skills:
    • Proven experience as a forklift operator
    • Excellent hand-eye coordination.
    • Great written & verbal communication
    • High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
    • Ability to work well with others
  • Duties/Responsibilities:
    • Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
      • Transport raw materials to production workstations
      • Lift and carry merchandises/material as needed..
      • Inspect merchandise upon delivery to identify any damages.
      • Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
      • Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
      • Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
    • Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
      • Maintain equipment in safe and good working condition.
    • Mange house keeping activities when requested.
      • Maintain the work area clean, safe and organized.
      • Assist in waste disposal and recycling activities
      • Cleanup work area and equipment after work is completed.
    • Execute daily work instructions received from Supervisor in a timely manner.
    • Work effectively to meet or exceed productivity goals while maintaining high quality standards.
      • Practice safety procedures in accordance with training and guidelines when working.
      • Comply with company policies and legal guidelines, helping to maintain a safe and orderly work environment
      • Meet quality and performance requirements as outlined by quality assurance and production standards
      • Report safety hazards, quality, and production issues to management immediately
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 LBS
    • Good stamina & physical health
    • Ability to work in varying hot and cold environments
      • Ability to work outdoors in harsh weather conditions
      • Ability to work in an environments with exposures to dust, dirt and various other debris, metal and paint fumes, gases
      • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to high, precarious places and outside weather conditions
      • The employee is occasionally exposed to loud noise, fumes, and/or airborne particles and risk of electrical shock
  • Documents Required:
    • Driver's License/Identification
    • Social Security Card/Birth Certificate
  • MUST be able to provide PPE (Hard hat, steel toes, safety glasses, & gloves)
  • MUST have reliable transportation.
  • Pay:
    • Starting Pay: TBD
    • Weekly Pay
    • Pay Schedule: Monday - Sunday
  • Schedule:
    • Monday - Friday (Weekends as Needed)
      • 8 - 12 Hour Days (With Weather Permitting)
