Summary:
Serves as a Business Manager in the Parking Garage of the Hale Koa Hotel. This position will remain open until filled with a first cutoff date of 10 October 2024 for employment consideration. Local candidates will be reviewed first as PCS is not authorized. Responsibilities: Manages the Parking Garage. Develops, recommends, and enforces operating procedures. Represents the activity to the public. Conducts customer surveys and reviews usage/sales to make recommendations concerning services, promotion activities, and revenue improvements. Supervises assigned staff. Develops budgetary data. Evaluates financial statements, reviewing costs against revenues, advising supervisor of status and recommending improvements in merchandise lines, marketing, etc. Requirements: 1 year of managerial/supervisory experience, including scheduling, payroll, coaching, discipline, and training of staff. Skilled at troubleshooting, analyzing data, making business-based decisions, providing customer service, and following up on customer complaints. Work experience in managing cost controls to meet budget requirements and presenting to senior-level management. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Highly Qualified Criteria: Work experience in parking operations, including stall allocations and parking management systems. Experience in a managerial/supervisory capacity in a unionized environment. Additional selections may be made from this vacancy announcement for up to 90 days after the closing date. Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized based upon a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government interest.
