**This role in summary**
**_This is a 2nd shift position. This position pays $1.25 per hour as a shift differential for every hour worked._**

As a Forklift/Clamp Truck Operator, you will work in a fast paced, high-speed environment while following standardized work and adhering to safe work practices in a continuous improvement organization.
**Your responsibilities will include**
+ Safe driving of one or more Powered Industrialized Trucks (PIT)
+ Utilize scanner/manual material moves in SAP to move inventory from trailers and suspense locations
+ Utilize SAP to look up pasts in controlled warehouse
+ Deliver parts to production line in a timely manner while maintaining the delivery standards
+ Ensure 5S standards are complied with by storing materials in its proper place
+ Participate in suspense location audits and bin audits
+ Call in and out trailers in the Yard Management System
+ Set dock plates and lock in trailers on a regular basis
+ Assist in root-cause analysis of inventory discrepancies
**Minimum requirements**
+ Ability to obtain fork truck license (requires valid state-issued driver's license)
+ Ability to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted, including from floor level
+ Must be able to communicate and receive communications regarding safety components and job instruction
+ Effectively communicate in a team-based environment
+ Capable of following standard work and job procedures
+ Must be able to work OT hours as needed to support production requirements
+ Read and understand a pick list
+ Get on and off PIT equipment
**Preferred skills and experiences**
+ Safe driving of one or more Powered Industrialized Trucks (PIT)
+ Utilize SAP for material flow
+ Understanding of parts genealogy
+ Usage of scan gun to track inventory accuracy
+ Versatility to work multiple platforms
Work is performed in a controlled-air, manufacturing environment. Safety glasses, hearing protection, arm guards, and other personal protection equipment (PPE) is required.
