Forklift Operator Job at Jackson Supply in Tulsa

Jackson Supply Company is a leading wholesale distributor of HVAC equipment and supplies.  We are a rapidly growing company with current locations throughout Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Oklahoma, and Texas.

We are currently seeking to fill a Forklift Operator / Warehouse Position in Tulsa, OK.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for the receipt, storage, and distribution of equipment, supplies, and materials.  This includes loading and unloading trucks, storing inventory and general warehouse duties.

DUTIES

• Unloading and properly storing incoming product, verifying product against packing slips.
• Accurately pulling and loading customer orders
• Participating in cycle counts and physical inventories
• Other duties as needed or assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Ability to operate a forklift
• Must be physically able to perform essential job functions
• Must be literate and able to perform basic math functions
• Must have effective communication skills
• Must have good math skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Stand and walk on concrete floor 8+ hours per day
• Lift and carry 80 pounds without mechanical aid
• Work in heat and cold in unconditioned dusty warehouse environment
• Maneuver mechanical aids such as pallet jack, hand truck, etc.
