Job Description
Job Overview
We are seeking a Forklift / Machine operator in the Lavergne, TN area. Machine operator will be responsible for running bagging lines but will also use forklift to efficiently receiving, accurately loading / unloading of materials in a warehouse setting.
PLEASE NOTE: You Will Be Working in a WAREHOUSE for an Animal Nutrition Company – Dirty & Dusty Environment, Not Climate Controlled, Requires Old Attire and Steel Toe Boots!
Training will be on 1st shift 7:30am - 4:00pm until completed then you will move permanently to 2nd shift, 4:00pm - 12:30am.
$20.00/hr. plus OT
Duties
- Utilize warehouse management system to locate and retrieve materials for loading
- Operate RF scanner to track inventory movement
- Safely operate pallet jacks and other equipment for material handling
- Load and unload materials onto trucks or storage areas
- Follow OSHA guidelines for safe handling of materials
- Operate Bagging Line
Skills
- Experience with order picking and materials handling
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
- Proficiency in using RF scanners and pallet jacks
- Computer Skills, Receiving, and Forklift Experience
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
