We are in search of a Security Engineer to join our team in Morrisville, North Carolina. In this role, you will serve as a vital component of our IT infrastructure security team, safeguarding systems and services from both internal and external threats. You will also play a key role in security engineering and operations, ensuring the secure operation of our private and public cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
• Safeguard IT infrastructure from both external and internal threats
• Contribute to our cross-functional team of Security Advocates
• Implement security policies across the IT infrastructure in collaboration with Security and Trust teams
• Validate security posture for patching, vulnerability scanning, software development, and open-source software
• Serve as a point of contact for security issues, incident response plans, and vulnerability management
• Implement security solutions and integrate security into all aspects of IT engineering, including code development
• Ensure all security requirements are met before a feature is released
• Participate in the definition of strategy and maintenance of the roadmap for the adoption, expansion, and integration of security monitoring platforms
• Participate in incident response investigations and response activity.• Minimum of 5 years of detail oriented experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Authentication protocols and techniques.
• Strong skills in Configuration Management, ensuring secure and efficient system operations.
• Expertise in Linux security, including system hardening and vulnerability management.
• Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CICD), promoting the regular, automated deployment of updates.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration Tools to streamline software development and deployment processes.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IAC) practices, enabling the automated setup and management of IT infrastructure.
• Proficiency in using Qualys for vulnerability management and compliance.
• Experience with CyberArk for privileged access security.
• Proficiency in using Rapid7 for vulnerability and risk management.
• Experience with OpenStack for cloud computing and storage.
