Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking a Security Manager reporting to the Sr. Director of Corporate Affairs in Midland, Texas. This position will be responsible for supporting the corporate office, assisting with oversight of security at other PR office locations. The Security Manager will be responsible for overseeing and implementing security measures throughout the organization.

Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking a Security Manager reporting to the Sr. Director of Corporate Affairs in Midland, Texas. This position will be responsible for supporting the corporate office, assisting with oversight of security at other PR office locations. The Security Manager will be responsible for overseeing and implementing security measures throughout the organization.
General Responsibilities
- Oversee all physical security for the Summit building including providing security assistance for tenants in the building and managing the building security desk.
- Manage security assessment of the Summit and implement security upgrades.
- Manage security card access systems at the Summit and all other PR offices and oversee activation and deactivation of security cards.
- Monitor security cameras for the Summit and other PR offices.
- Conduct regular patrols of Summit perimeter, parking garage and office floors and respond appropriately to security incidents.
- Provide security assistance to other departments as needed.
- Provide security for company events and provide recommendations to event coordinators to optimize event security.
- Oversee security services for PR executives when necessary, including at industry events.
- Coordinate responses to security incidents in the field, including incidents of oilfield theft, by cooperating with relevant authorities at local, state, and federal levels.
- Maintain strong relationships with local authorities in areas where PR operates.
- Create and manage security budget, ensuring all expenses stay within budgetary constraints.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience in internal company security, preferably at an oil and gas company.
- Proven experience in law enforcement, including relevant law enforcement or peace officer certifications.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours when necessary to oversee events and react to security incidents.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice or related field
