Position Summary:
The Senior Demand Planner advances the Company’s success by developing and managing forecasting and purchasing strategies to meet revenue and inventory objectives. As a strategic partner to senior management, this role provides insights and analyses to support key decisions in inventory management and procurement. Responsibilities include optimizing material forecasting and purchasing to align with organizational goals, overseeing projected expenditures, revenue forecasts, inventory levels, and customer order backlog. By integrating demand planning into the supply chain strategy, the Senior Demand Planner enhances operational efficiency and financial performance through strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills. Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities: Collaborate with Sales and Operations to develop accurate sales forecasts and annual budgets. Establish, evaluate, and maintain supply forecast models based on historical demand, market trends, marketing plans, and key customer usage. Create simulation models and mathematical demand plans to improve forecasting and decision-making. Optimize forecasts to meet sales targets and inventory turn objectives. Act as a cross-functional liaison to gather insights and information for supply and demand forecasting. Build and maintain a customer sell-through database to support data-driven decisions. Develop risk-mitigation scenarios and conduct cost-benefit analyses to support operational goals. Participate in sales meetings to ensure alignment of forecasts and assumptions. Support new product launches through demand planning and forecasting. Oversee aged inventory levels across global fulfillment centers to reduce waste and improve efficiency. Manage standard costing processes for budgets and annual inventory revaluations. Collaborate with the Technical Support Manager to forecast and manage replacement parts inventory. Competencies and Skills: Initiative Reliability Communication Problem Solving Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline. APICS experience or certification preferred. Proven responsibility for all aspects of demand and supply planning for contract manufacturers. Decision-making within guidelines established by the Supply Chain Manager. Strong proficiency in MS Excel, including VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, and dynamic linking. Experience with NetSuite ERP and Adaptive Planning is a plus. Work Environment and Office Requirements:
This role is located at our corporate headquarters in Bothell, WA, and is primarily performed in a fast-paced office environment with moderate noise levels. It requires in-office presence 2–3 days per week. Occasional work hours beyond 40 per week, including early mornings or evenings, may be required to meet business needs. Remote meetings with the Operations team in China may occasionally require availability outside standard business hours due to time zone differences. Occasional travel is required. Physical Demands:

This is a full-time, salaried exempt position with an annual salary of $95,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
