Sr. Director Business Process Improvement - Six Sigma Black Belt
Location:
Nashville, TN - Hybrid Onsite/Remote
Salary:
$120-140K + Bonus

The ideal candidate will be an expert in business process improvement and hold a Six Sigma Black Belt. They will lead the Distribution and Administration Services process improvement efforts, providing internal consulting services to business process owners regarding process documentation, improvement, and engineering. The role involves working with business process owners and cross-functional teams to improve the consistency and quality of service delivery while lowering overall costs.
Essential Functions:
Analyzes existing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement, including data collection, stakeholder interviews, and workflow mapping.
Designs solutions to improve processes, such as developing new workflows, recommending new tools or technologies, or proposing changes to organizational structure.
Implements process improvements by collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure buy-in and successful adoption of new processes.
Establishes metrics to measure the effectiveness of new processes and continuously monitors performance to identify further improvement opportunities.
Communicates regularly with stakeholders, including senior management, to provide updates on process improvement initiatives and their impact on business outcomes.
Keeps up with industry trends and best practices to ensure that the organization is continuously improving and evolving its processes.
Education/Knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Engineering. Equivalent years of experience will be considered.
Experience:
Minimum five (5) years of process re-engineering/consulting or other relevant experience.
Skills and Abilities:
Expert knowledge of process improvement and reengineering techniques (root cause analysis, gap analysis, business requirements, lean, six sigma, continuous process improvement, etc.).
Extensive and successful background in process re-engineering and design.
Ability to work with management to define/refine key performance metrics.
Success in leading/influencing process change in large, corporate-wide change efforts, including strategic planning for people impact.
High-energy self-starter with a history of successful accomplishments.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to influence and manage in a matrixed environment.
Solid project management skills.
Efficiency and quality-focused.
Able to simplify and effectively communicate complex information.
Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
License(s)/Certifications Required:
Six Sigma Black Belt (preferred).
