Job Summary:

As the

Supply Chain Manager

at Phase Four, you will ensure effective oversight of all daily activities of Material and Supply Chain planning. You will assist in the expansion and execution of the strategic plan to procure material in a cost effective and timely manner to meet customer demand while satisfying inventory and regulatory requirements. Reporting directly to the Director of Production, this role will have the opportunity to set the tone for maturing our Supply Chain practices within the company. This role requires candidate to be on-site at our Hawthorne, CA, location.

Core Responsibilities:

Develop assessment methods for qualifying new suppliers and updating qualifications of current suppliers, and oversee regular auditing of our vendors and suppliers.

Manage planning, proposal, negotiation, and execution of supply contracts in order to ensure flight hardware and equipment is delivered on-time and to specifications. Manage vendor relationships.

Identify and resolve Supply Chain management constraints, discrepancies and risks that impact on-time delivery and revenue capture.

Prepare company to meet production goals by

identifying additional vendors both domestic and internationally, establishing tiers for suppliers based on levels of criticality and required redundancy.

Oversee and validate supplier schedules, supplier relationships, and manage purchase requirement(s) while mitigating risk and delays.

Consistently update cost comparison amongst 3-4 suppliers for any given time for item or material.

Work with Procurement Team to perform analysis on requirements and supplier schedules to accommodate numerous customer requirements.

Work extensively within MRP, ERP, Jira, and Microsoft Office Suite environments for tracking and approvals.

Work cross functionally with Engineering and Production Team to ensure priority of orders of materials given needs for programs and projects.

Perform additional duties as required.

Required Qualifications / Skills

:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

Minimum of 4 years of Supply Chain or Operations related experience

Knowledge in data analysis and forecasting methods

Advanced computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word)

Thorough knowledge of ERP/MRP and inventory management systems/software.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to address audiences at varying levels

Strong project leadership and/or management skills in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, and an ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in sourcing for government/defense programs.

Previous experience with ERP systems.

Master’s degree in business, engineering, or supply chain management

Experience procuring a variety of aerospace hardware including mechanical components, electronics, and machined parts

Prior Aerospace industry experience

Salary Range:

$125,000.00 - $145,000.00 Annually

Phone Interview with our Recruiting Team

- 15-30 minutes - Where we learn about you, your experience, and what you're looking for in a new role, as well as give you a chance to learn about us, the role, and any questions you may have. If progressing to next step;

Video Interview with the Hiring Manager

- 30 minutes - This interview reviews the technical aspects of the role as well as your technical background. This is a great time for both you and the hiring manager to get more in depth about the expectations and technical mindset needed for the role. If progressing to next step;

'Challenge Question' + In-Person Interview

- 90-120 minutes - You will be given a technical question to work through that relates to the role to present during the In-Person interview at our office. Also during this time, you'll get to meet our team, tour our facility, and see what we do at Phase Four!
