As a Product Manager at Micron Technology Inc. in the Compute and Networking Business Unit (CNBU), you will be responsible for the business execution of the HBM product portfolio which forms a critical part of Micron’s AI Solutions Platform. Enabling key business wins and revenue growth in one of the most technically sophisticated and profitable segments of the semiconductor industry. You will need to collaborate closely with cross functional teams across various corporate fields, including technical, financial, planning, logistics, and customer support. This role within the corporation requires tight-knit collaboration, self-motivation, and communication skills as it is of critical importance and highly dynamic!
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate product execution meetings to communicate progress and identify key risks that may impact the achievement of the business goals.
Represent the Product Management team in Product Development Team meetings ensuring product requirements and business needs are well understood and aligned by cross functional teams both within business and technical divisions of the company.
Work closely with engineering teams to assess business impact to changes in the product development targets and/or schedules.
Generate and present Stage Gate material ensuring timely progress is made towards successful product launch and high volume ramp.
Report to your manager and executives on the product status updates sourced from a deep understanding of internal development progress, market dynamics, competitive positioning and latest customer requirements.
Ensure the product business model remains competitive through continued optimization of financials, technical collaterals and execution.
Participate in the product management community by supplying to corporate process improvement.
Requirements
Master’s Degree in Engineering (preferred) or MBA minimum with at least 8 years’ experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
Experience in the AI hardware and/or DRAM manufacturing industry preferred with strong technical background.
Dedicated and highly motivated with a flexible approach towards adapting to different roles in a dynamic working environment (from supporting the team to leading task groups).
Proven track record of collaborative work within/across teams to address sophisticated business and engineering problems.
Strong sense of responsibility and accountability towards assigned role with professional work ethic.
Work on site in Boise (preferred) or San Jose with domestic and international travel likely.
Proficient in English with a track record of effective communication and presentation abilities.
The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$136,500.00 - $309,000.00
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
