Senior Process Manager, Process Transformation
As a Process Sr. Manager for Capital One's Commercial Bank, you will be part of a smart, talented team responsible for driving well-managed process outcomes by improving data, documentation, and sustainability of our processes through strategic initiatives and routines. You will regularly integrate and influence multiple groups and be seen as a strong change leader by business partners, and you will educate and gain buy-in from key stakeholders to ensure processes deliver optimized and consistent results. This leader will be focused on developing well-designed processes that provide consistent and repeatable outcomes for our Customers and the Business. The ideal candidate will design, transform, and continuously improve processes that are critical to the organization's strategy. This leader should be able to communicate at all levels of the organization and lead and mentor a team, which includes thought-leadership and skill training that grows the next generation of Process Excellence leaders in our organization. The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced leader of processes and associates, and can strongly communicate our story and agenda to executive leaders and the broader associate population. This candidate will strike a balance between strategizing and designing and deploying execution plans, comfortably navigating white space, building, analyzing, interpreting data, and exercising exceptional critical thinking skills. In this role, the leader will build productive relationships and connect dots between business needs and actionable insights. Responsibilities:
Build and advance the Process Excellence, Sustainably Well Managed strategy by setting the strategic direction and building a roadmap of strategic initiatives that support key objectives to optimize our client journey, make us more competitive, ensure we are more well managed, and achieve better risk outcomes. Collaborate with and influence key stakeholders, including senior executives. Craft and deliver presentations to senior leaders to guide and influence senior discussions and decisions. Manage process documentation and data refresh routines, maintaining formal process documents (L2 process maps, memos, SIPOCs) and data. Design and lead complex strategic programs and initiatives that improve processes and our process foundations. Advance our process documentation and data ecosystem. Partner closely with business leaders, analysts, risk managers, audit partners, project managers, and process optimization partners to connect dots and amplify outcomes. Improve process acumen across junior, senior, and executive stakeholders. Create, establish, and manage communications across teams to ensure optimal engagement of associates and leaders. Gather insights from various routines, data sources, and partners to inform strategic priorities. Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or military experience. At least 5 years of experience managing project teams and deliverables. Preferred Qualifications:
At least 5+ years of process improvement experience. At least 2+ years of experience in audit or risk management. At least 2+ years of experience with data mining and analytical software (Minitab, Tableau, SQL, R, Snowflake). At least 3+ years of experience in Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs) or Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word). Six Sigma Certification, Lean, Change Management or Agile certification.
