R-08483Base salary for this position is dependent upon experience and location.Salary range: $111,544.00 to $160,345.00Location: United States- RemoteJob SummaryThe Construction Site Manager will review, manage, and report upon the day-to-day activities for assigned renewable energy facilities at locations throughout the United States, upon the completion of permitting through the construction process to commercial operation. The Site Manager (Construction) manages the execution of renewable energy projects by overseeing the contractor's implementation of the construction, startup, and commissioning of the project. This position will require that the Site Manager work on designated project for the full duration of project construction.Key ResponsibilitiesOversees all aspects of the day-to-day management of renewable energy construction projects - monitors, coordinates and reports on work performed by engineering, construction firms and OEMs. Reviews and interprets design drawings, and specifications for appropriateness to required function.Reports and liaises directly with Project Director to support all phases of project execution to include but not limited to – bidding, contract award, kick off meetings, full project execution, turnover to site operations and management of legacy issues.Reviews and report upon contracts status, purchase orders, change orders, and contractor invoices for payment. Facilitates work sequencing to expedite project delivery and to minimize disruption of ongoing plant operations.Manages daily on-site quality inspections by the AGR QA/QC team to ensure that the construction works are in conformance with design, operational standards, building and life safety codes, and engineering

specifications.Defines critical tasks, establishes sequence of events, and identifies and allocates roles and responsibilities to individuals/teams to support adherence to timelines and successful project outcomes.Facilitates team effort, provides guidance and direction to team members, and communicates project objectives, parameters, status, and outcomes.Regularly evaluates schedules and budgets and reports to Project Director any variances, concerns or need for mitigatory actions to return schedule to target.Ensures adherence to site the specific safety program and always seeks to secure compliance with Avangrid Renewables expected standards seeking to create and maintain a positive health and safety culture across the project.Manages start-up and commissioning and coordinates start-up with plant operation personnel and various contractors.Ensure daily and weekly reports are submitted timely and with high degree of frequency and accuracy.Respond to requests for information regarding all aspects of construction process from state, city, local, or other government and regulatory associations.Manage warranty claims and

administration.Ensure all relevant internal controls are followed and develops new controls as needed.Request timely and accurate reports regarding construction progress from contractors as defined within Contract provisions in order to maintain communication with corporate headquarters.Work with Engineering team to proactively assess potential issues that could have impact on schedule/budget. In addition, will work with QA/QC team to submit quality concerns to Contractor and/or deviations from design.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management and 8 years of relevant experience in wind plant/solar plant construction or equivalent combination of education and experience.PMP certification or similar.Ability to travel and manage field work for periods of 9 months or longer.Demonstrated knowledge and skill of design and construction processes and interdependencies.Knowledge of engineering design and construction methods, budgeting and cost estimating, collective bargaining agreements building trades and project labor agreements.Technical knowledge of wind or solar plant components and operations, life cycle values, and maintenance requirements.Knowledge of contract documents and

specifications.Knowledge of federal, state, and local building codes, ordinances, and regulations related to construction and operations.Ability to perform site inspections and/or approve installations.Proficient in computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project or Primavera P6.
