Position Overview
The Security Operations Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality service delivery, supporting the District Managers and Account Managers, and leading key projects to success. This role combines project coordination, staff development, and client relations with essential human resources duties to ensure a top-notch team.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $51,000-$55,000
- Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
- Vacation: 10 accrued vacation days, 4 floating holidays, and 6 sick days

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Supervision:
- Oversee security personnel, including guards and operators, managing schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
- Conduct regular briefings and trainings on emergency procedures, safety protocols, and incident responses.
- Supervise training, operational procedures, and ensure high standards of conduct, appearance, and performance.
Human Resources & Staff Development:
- Conduct interviews, onboarding, and coordinate training for new security personnel.
- Facilitate and oversee background checks, drug testing, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Manage and maintain accurate personnel records, performance evaluations, and professional development plans.
Access Control & Facility Security:
- Oversee the implementation of access control systems to secure restricted areas.
- Regularly inspect and audit security equipment, including CCTV, alarms, and access control systems.
- Identify potential vulnerabilities and implement measures to enhance facility security.
Incident Management & Response:
- Respond to security incidents, breaches, and emergencies, coordinating swift and appropriate actions.
- Conduct initial investigations and prepare detailed reports for senior management.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders as necessary.
Policy Compliance & Enforcement:
- Ensure all security personnel adhere to company policies and local regulations.
- Conduct regular reviews of policies and procedures to reflect best practices and mitigate emerging threats.
- Coordinate with District Manager to ensure that contract standards are maintained and met.
Communication & Reporting:
- Serve as a key liaison between security staff, senior management, and clients.
- Prepare and present reports on incidents, performance metrics, and trends to leadership.
- Communicate ongoing incidents and potential security concerns with relevant stakeholders.
Risk Assessment & Mitigation:
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify physical security vulnerabilities.
- Lead emergency drills and safety training, developing strategies to minimize risks.
- Monitor compliance with service level agreements and performance indicators across assigned sites.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field preferred.
- Experience: 2-4 years in physical security operations, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Certifications: Security certifications (ASIS PSP or CPP) or law enforcement/military experience are advantageous.
- Skills: Strong leadership, crisis management, and incident response skills.
