We are looking for a dynamic, customer-obsessed, and innovative Senior Designer specializing in Kids and Baby Apparel Design to join our Amazon Private Brands Design team.

In this role, you will design and develop products for Amazon's core brands, primarily focusing on Kids and Baby Apparel. The ideal candidate will have a strong design background and a passion for premium and contemporary design details. They will be highly technical, experienced in Kids and Baby product development, and have an extensive history of working directly with vendors and factories. Proficiency in digital design tools is necessary, along with a readiness to adopt new technologies and data inputs to accelerate and improve development without compromising quality.

Successful candidates will demonstrate a proven ability to create cohesive, on-brand products across multiple categories with exceptional attention to detail. This hands-on role requires high judgment, executing against brand tenants, and proactive ownership. We value collaboration and creative excellence within our global team. The ideal candidate will possess strong partner and project management skills, lead with integrity and have excellent communication abilities. This role will work cross-functionally with Business Management, Product Development, Technical Design and Raw Materials Teams.

Key Job Responsibilities

Design and develop Kids and Baby apparel from concept to pre-production approval. Manage projects across all design stages for Amazon Essentials and Private Brands. Identify opportunities to integrate emerging trends and innovations into product solutions. Deliver compelling presentations and effectively communicate with internal customers and stakeholders. Collaborate closely with creative leads and cross-functional partners, including Product Developers, Business Managers, Sourcing, and Project Management teams, to ensure work is delivered on time and of the highest quality. Proactively incorporate emerging technologies and data inputs to evolve and refine the product creation process. Establish mechanisms and conduct audits to maintain consistent brand standards across all product categories. Drive process improvements, business scalability, and seek opportunities to enhance division/brand impact. Elevate standards for design, product quality, and customer satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements

10+ years of design experience. Have an available online portfolio. Experience in design. Experience partnering with technical partners for design implementation. Knowledge of marketing fundamentals and ability to implement them to create dynamic advertising solutions. Knowledge of typographic and brand design principles.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
