Precision Security Team is a veteran owned and operated company in the northern Colorado area. We service areas from Denver, CO to Cheyenne, WY. In operation since 2018, we have grown exponentially, being entrusted with many local government contracts, other critical sites, schools, patrol, events, etc. We pride ourselves with hiring veterans, previous law enforcement, and first responders. As an Armed Security Officer with Precision Security Team, you will assist with all security-related concerns and other requests as needed to ensure a safe environment for the public at your assigned site. Every Security Officer at Precision Security Team owns the client's experience and their bottom line. It is of the utmost importance to uphold Precision Security Team’s professional image to the client, the public, and law enforcement at all times. It is imperative that you practice and demonstrate Precision Security Team’s core values and code of conduct everyday.
Your schedule would be 9:00 am-6:00 pm Monday through Friday for a total of 40 hours per week. Please do not apply if this does not work with your availability.
Candidates must be able to pass CBI background check, Larimer County Sheriff's Office background check, and pre-employment drug screen.
Candidates must have previous professional experience with and confidence handling a pistol.

- Capable of standing for long durations and conducting regular foot patrols throughout the shift to ensure thorough monitoring and safety of the premises.
- Proficient with using technological tools, including report writing software, time-tracking systems for clocking in and out, and scanning checkpoints to maintain accurate logs and documentation.
- Adept at securing premises and preventing incidents of vandalism, theft, and other unauthorized activities, by proactively identifying potential risks and addressing them promptly.
- Possesses the confidence and self-reliance to work independently, ensuring security protocols are followed without direct supervision while maintaining high standards of vigilance and responsiveness.
- Demonstrates a willingness to accommodate after-hours meetings as needed.
Precision Security Team or the client can assign other duties to you as necessary at any time.

Pay: This site pays $23.00/hour. This is a W2 position. Employees who work 30 or more hours a week are eligible for health benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life, and accident insurance. Colorado is an at-will employment state.
Hiring Process: Our hiring process begins with a thorough review of resumes to identify candidates who align well with our company’s needs. If your resume stands out, you will receive a call for an initial phone screen. Following a successful phone screen, we will invite you to an in-person interview with the hiring manager and other relevant management team members. Should you advance past this stage, a job offer will be extended to you no less than 24 hours later. After the offer is accepted, we conduct a background check and proceed with online onboarding.

Physical Requirements:
- able to train and become certified to use an approved firearm
- ability to use/maintain/operate/manipulate firearm, handcuffs, and other issued gear
- able to stand for up to eight hours at a time
- able to pass company basic hand-to-hand course
- able to walk up and down stairs frequently throughout your shift
- able to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted
- able to wear issued gear belt for the entire duration of your assigned shift
