Precision Security Team is a veteran owned and operated company in the northern Colorado area. We service areas from Denver, CO to Cheyenne, WY. In operation since 2018, we have grown exponentially, being entrusted with many local government contracts, other critical sites, schools, patrol, events, etc. We pride ourselves with hiring veterans, previous law enforcement, and first responders. As an Armed Security Officer with Precision Security Team, you will assist with all security-related concerns and other requests as needed to ensure a safe environment for the public at your assigned site. Every Security Officer at Precision Security Team owns the client's experience and their bottom line. It is of the utmost importance to uphold Precision Security Team’s professional image to the client, the public, and law enforcement at all times. It is imperative that you practice and demonstrate Precision Security Team’s core values and code of conduct everyday.


We are looking for an individual to work either mornings or swings. The hours would be between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm. Schedule would be able to be discussed at interview.


Candidate must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.


Duties and Responsibilities: The following are duties you may perform at your site. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • interacting with clients, patrons, guests, partners, coworkers, and the public
  • maintaining situational awareness at all times
  • conducting foot patrols
  • conducting mobile patrols
  • denying access to unauthorized personnel
  • securing your site and preventing vandalism and theft
  • scanning QR codes/NFC tags around your site
  • assisting with emergencies and building evacuations
  • utilizing reporting systems and contacting appropriate parties for site situations
  • utilizing closed-circuit camera systems and review footage to maintain awareness of the site and its property
  • maintaining confidentiality of all activities within your site
  • utilizing verbal judo to de-escalate situations
  • utilizing minimal use of force unless the individual poses an imminent physical danger to themselves, someone else, or you
  • maintaining a professional and conservative demeanor at all times
  • following SOPs at assigned site
  • following, communicating, and enforcing local laws and regulations
  • prepared to assist first responders in the event of a crisis or emergency

Precision Security Team or the client can assign other duties to you as necessary at any time.

Pay: This position pays $22.00/hour. This is a W2 position. Employees who work 30 or more hours a week are eligible for health benefits. Colorado is an at-will employment state.


Hiring Process: Our hiring process begins with a thorough review of resumes to identify candidates who align well with our company’s needs. Following a successful phone screen, we will invite you to an in-person interview with the hiring manager and other relevant management team members. Your application will be automatically rejected if you are not 21 years of age or older, do not have a high school diploma or GED, and/or do not have previous firearm experience.

  • 21 years of age or older

  • eligible to legally use a firearm
  • previous firearm experience
  • valid driver’s license
  • clean driving record
  • able to work posted hours without modification

Physical Requirements:

  • able to train and become certified to use an approved firearm
  • ability to use/maintain/operate/manipulate firearm, handcuffs, and other issued gear
  • able to stand for up to eight hours at a time
  • able to pass company basic hand-to-hand course
  • able to walk up and down stairs frequently throughout your shift
  • able to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted
  • able to wear issued gear belt and exterior tactical vest for the entire duration of your assigned shift
