Precision Security Team is a veteran owned and operated company in the northern Colorado area. We service areas from Denver, CO to Cheyenne, WY. As an Armed Security Officer with Precision Security Team, you will assist with all security-related concerns and other requests as needed to ensure a safe environment for the public at your assigned site. Every Security Officer at Precision Security Team owns the client's experience and their bottom line. It is of the utmost importance to uphold Precision Security Team’s professional image to the client, the public, and law enforcement at all times. It is imperative that you practice and demonstrate Precision Security Team’s core values and code of conduct everyday.

Your schedule would be 5:00 pm-9:00 pm every Friday, and other days upon request. You are guaranteed 4 hours a week with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts across the company. Please do not apply if this Friday shift does not work with your availability.

Our office is located in Fort Collins. Candidates must be willing to drive to Fort Collins for an interview and at least 16 hours of training.

Critical Roles of the Position

• Access Control:
  Monitor and manage the point of entry to ensure only authorized personnel, customers, and visitors are permitted on premises. Maintain strict access control protocols to secure sensitive areas.
• Perimeter Checks:
  Conduct regular patrols of the site's exterior and interior to identify any potential security vulnerabilities, suspicious activities, or unauthorized individuals.
• Customer Relations:
  Provide a welcoming and professional presence. Balance security enforcement with a customer-focused approach to maintain a positive experience.

Precision Security Team or the client can assign other duties to you as necessary at any time.

Pay: This site pays $25.00/hour. This is a W2 position. Employees who work 30 or more hours a week are eligible for benefits including health, vision, dental, life, and accident. Colorado is an at-will employment state.

Hiring Process: Our hiring process begins with a thorough review of resumes to identify candidates who align well with our company’s needs. If your resume stands out, you will receive a call for an initial phone screen. Following a successful phone screen, we will invite you to an in-person interview with the hiring manager and other relevant management team members. Should you advance past this stage, a job offer will be extended to you no less than 24 hours later. After the offer is accepted, we conduct a background check and proceed with online onboarding.

Assessments will be scored based on answering the question, and proper use of grammar and written communication. Your application will be automatically rejected if you are not 21 years of age or older, do not have a high school diploma or GED, and/or do not have previous firearm experience.

• eligible to legally use a firearm
• previous firearm experience
• able to work the posted hours without modification
• Denver Security Guard license a plus

Physical Requirements:

• able to train and become certified to use an approved firearm
• ability to use/maintain/operate/manipulate firearm, handcuffs, and other issued gear
• able to stand for up to eight hours at a time
• able to pass company basic hand-to-hand course
• able to walk up and down stairs frequently throughout your shift
• able to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted
• able to wear issued gear belt for the entire duration of your assigned shift
