Job Title: Phlebotomist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced phlebotomist to process samples from clients in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will handle blood, urine, and other specimens while entering sample information into a computer system.
Responsibilities
This position is based in a fast-paced production environment located exclusively at 7450 the person Shawnee, KS. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 3:30 pm and/or 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, with rotating Saturdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm starting in the Fall (October). The role involves moderate physical effort, including speech clarity, utilization of fingers and hands, standing, sitting, and handling up to 30 pounds. The candidate must comply with all safety procedures and regulations.

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced phlebotomist to process samples from clients in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will handle blood, urine, and other specimens while entering sample information into a computer system.
Responsibilities
- Collect and process blood, urine, and other specimens from clients
- Enter sample information accurately into the computer system
- Provide excellent customer service to clients
- Ensure proper identification and handling of hazardous materials
- Comply with safety procedures and regulations
- Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality
- Participate in hazardous chemical waste management
- Specimen collection and processing
- Experience with blood draws and phlebotomy
- Data entry skills
- Customer service skills
- Ability to handle specimen samples
- High school diploma
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in clinics or hospitals
- Experience in microbiology
- Experience with venipuncture
- Motivated and reliable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work without drama or issues
