You will be a founding member of this business platform and spearhead the commercialization of Maximo within the solar construction ecosystem. We are seeking a dynamic Chief Commercial Officer who will optimize Maximo’s route to market, develop strategic partnerships, drive deployment and revenue growth, lead capital raises, set pricing strategy, and oversee sales and marketing activities. Key Responsibilities: Develop Strategic Partnerships:
Identify and establish strategic partnerships with key industry players, suppliers, and customers. Develop relationships at both the senior and working levels of the organization, negotiate and manage partnership agreements, and implement to drive mutual growth and success. Optimize Route to Market:
Deeply understand market trends and customer needs to identify the most effective routes to market. Collaborate with Maximo and AES teams to execute on market entry plans. Develop and implement pricing strategy:
Work with current and future customers to develop a fundamental understanding of what they value and their willingness to pay, to inform optimal pricing structures. Drive growth:
Own and lead plans for driving deployment and overall revenue growth. Raise Capital:
Develop Maximo investor pitch deck and lead efforts to secure funding from investors. Qualifications: •
Experience:
Bachelor of Science in engineering or design with a minimum of 15+ years of work experience, MBA or similar continuing education preferred. •
Expertise:
Proven experience in bringing new products to market, product integration, and/or design management. •
Visionary mindset:
Strategic vision for creating new solutions and opportunities in the solar industry. •
Customer empathy:
Strong capability to ideate new solutions and understand customer needs. •
Skill and Behavior:
Capability to lead and motivate a diverse team in a technical business environment. •
Technology fluency:
Demonstrated ability to understand solar engineering and technology concepts. Travel:
35% travelling required.
