A
Product Manager
plays a crucial role in the development and management of technical products within a company.
The role involves a combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and product management skills. The PM will be a primary driver of the research & strategy stage as well as lead the progressive elaboration process including epic elaboration, sizing estimates and feature elaboration. What you will do:
Research & Product Solution Strategy:
Understand, drill down into and communicate the product vision, strategy, and goals. In partnership with the Strategy team, conduct market research to further understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product strategy with business objectives. Define, manage and communicate user personas. Understand competitive solutions and build vs. buy options for Epic formulation. Identify dependencies & draft an impact analysis when necessary. Work closely with the Compliance and Security teams to identify impacts on requirements. Determine the depth of innovation that is necessary or possible in the solution. Work closely with internal/external stakeholders, to gather and define product requirements and to understand intended value propositions in order to target the right solution path. Write, manage, and prioritize features that support existing epic prioritization; ensure stories are aligned with feature acceptance criteria. Guide Team through full Definition of Done and own data integrity in Azure DevOps for Features. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Communication and Execution Support:
Collaborate and communicate with the Solution Execution team to ensure a clear understanding of requirements. Possess a strong technical background to effectively communicate with development teams and make informed decisions. Leadership & Teamwork:

Education:
College Degree (BA/BS Degree or advanced degree – MBA preferred) Experience:
Success as Product Manager, Product Owner or Sr. Business Analyst developing or launching new features. Strong Soft Skills to quickly gain the support of internal, clients and stakeholders. A minimum of six years’ experience in software, system and/or business analysis. Knowledge of financial industry and/or credit union operations. Strong technical background, with hands-on experience in software development, engineering or related fields. Specialized Skills:
Ability to interface with credit union and internal management for the purpose of creating business plans. Strong organizational skills with ability to develop strategies, set objectives, and manage to results. Proactive leadership style to identify opportunities and work across organization. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority. Must be able to travel 20% of the time. Why you should apply:
