Technical Product Manager! The Technical Product Manager takes strategic ownership of the Origination Platform. Specifically, the PM will lead the progressive elaboration process including feature analysis & business scope. The Technical PM is responsible for executing on the origination platform’s roadmap. The PM works with multiple functional areas of the platform to ensure the right priorities are being worked on in the Agile teams before the build out. PM also ensures completeness of the features for the market segments. What you will do: The Technical PM is responsible for the origination platform’s competitive analysis. Moreover, customer research and validation are core competencies including conducting market research through on-going visits with customers and prospects. In collaboration with a UX Designer, the PM is responsible for persona development, journey mapping, rapid prototyping and the EPIC business case. Progressive Elaboration: As agile teams are sprinting, the Technical PM in collaboration with a Development Architect is working on EPIC creation, acceptance criteria and portfolio architecture (Feature Analysis). Moreover, the PM leads high level business design, rapid prototyping and supports PSE with t-shirt sizing with assistance from an Architect and UX designer. (Business Scope). The PM serves as an escalation path. If further clarification on any business-related functionality and rules cannot be answered by the Product Owner, then the issue is escalated to the Product Manager. Ensures visibility and accuracy of the origination platform’s roadmap. Prioritization of EPICs and works with Dev Architect and PSE to understand the Technical dependencies. Moreover, owns and understand targeted component pricing in relation to the marketplace. The ideal candidate: Education
: College Degree (BA/BS Degree or advanced degree – MBA preferred) Experience: Success as Product Manager, Product Owner or Sr. Business Analyst developing or launching new features A minimum of six years’ experience in software, system and/or business analysis. Deep Knowledge of mortgage industry and Mortgage Loan Origination. Knowledge of information technology operations and procedures. Experience working with Loan Origination Systems. Specialized Skills: Strong Soft Skills to quickly gain the support of internal, clients and stakeholders Ability to interface with credit union and internal management for the purpose of creating business plans Strong organizational skills with ability to develop strategies, set objectives, and manage to results Proactive leadership style to identify opportunities and work across organization Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority Must be able to travel 20% of the time Perks and Benefits Paid Time Off 401k (8% match) College Tuition Benefits/ Tuition Reimbursement Good Benefits options Company Culture! Origence maintains a highly competitive compensation program. Under company guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual bonus to provide an incentive to achieve targeted goals.
