Plant Director

DSJ Global is partnered with a global manufacturing company seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Manager to oversee all manufacturing operations at one of their facilities. Responsibilities of the Plant Manager Include: Full P&L Responsibility: Take ownership of the plant's financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, revenue generation, and profitability optimization. Lead and motivate a diverse team of manufacturing professionals to achieve production targets, quality standards, and safety objectives. Drive the adoption of Lean principles and methodologies throughout the plant to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivity. Identify opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction, and cost savings, implementing innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure that products meet or exceed quality standards, implementing robust quality control measures and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic plans for the plant, aligning operational objectives with overall company goals and objectives. Qualifications of the Plant Manager Include: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business. Advanced degree or MBA preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role within the corrugated packaging manufacturing industry, with a track record of delivering results and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and methodologies, with hands-on experience implementing Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and Six Sigma. Proven ability to manage full P&L responsibilities, including budgeting, financial analysis, and cost management.
