Key Responsibilities:
- Phlebotomy:
- Perform accurate and efficient blood draws on patients of all ages, including pediatrics and geriatrics.
- Prepare and label blood specimens according to established procedures.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
- Patient Care:
- Greet and interact with patients in a compassionate and professional manner.
- Explain procedures clearly and answer patient questions.
- Create a positive and reassuring environment for patients.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and timely.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Phlebotomy certification (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
- Minimum of 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Experience working in a patient service center environment.
- Medical assistant or paramedic training.
- Customer service experience in a retail or service setting.
