We are offering a temp-to-hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Carson, California. As part of our Wholesale Distribution team, you'll be entrusted with handling customer inquiries across multiple platforms, keeping customer records up-to-date, and processing orders and quotes.
Responsibilities:
• Engage with customers via phone, email, and chat to address their inquiries and concerns
• Use appropriate methods and tools to provide accurate, valid, and complete information to customers
• Update customer records based on their interactions with the service
• Ensure efficient and accurate processing of customer orders and quotes
• Develop and maintain knowledge of the product line to better assist customers
• Adhere to communication procedures, guidelines, and policies to maintain consistency in service delivery
• Manage and schedule appointments effectively
• Perform data entry tasks diligently and accurately
• Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for various tasks
• Handle both inbound and outbound calls as part of customer service duties.
• Proven experience in answering inbound calls, demonstrating strong telephonic communication skills.• Previous experience in a call center customer service role is essential.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively.
• Must possess strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in email correspondence, demonstrating excellent written communication skills.
• Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls, showing the ability to multitask.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, demonstrating strong computer skills.
• Experience in order entry, showing a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
• Ability to schedule appointments effectively, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
