Robert Half is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Minneapolis, MN. This role is integral in ensuring customers receive top-tier support while working collaboratively with internal teams to maintain high standards of service. Responsibilities include managing orders and addressing customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, delivery schedules, and order status.
Responsibilities:
- Handle and track orders from receipt through fulfillment, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper invoicing by working closely with internal departments.
- Share key account updates with internal teams and notify team members of important developments.
- Respond to requests regarding product details, availability, shipments, estimates, and samples.
- Serve as a central point of contact between customers and internal teams, facilitating updates on schedules, changes, and issue resolution.
- Keep customer records updated and well-organized.
- Address customer concerns, including billing discrepancies, and escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Oversee inventory levels in relation to customer needs and perform reconciliations, including physical inventory as needed.
- High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
- 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably within the packaging, distribution, or manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with Packaging Solutions is highly desired.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, familiarity with order management systems a plus.
- Knowledge of Order Fulfillment and Order Management is required.
- Strong customer service orientation and a commitment to meeting client needs.
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, tailored to different audiences.
- Team-oriented and collaborative, with an understanding of the value of shared information.
