Robert Half is working with a manufacturing company to offer a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Sr. Customer Service Representative in the Automotive industry, located in FRANKFORT, Kentucky. In this role, your main function will be managing and processing customer orders, building relationships with customers, and providing support in various projects. This position requires fluent Japanese speaking and writing as there is direct communications with the parent Japanese company. Responsibilities:


• Manage and process incoming customer purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Regularly communicate with customers regarding product sales, including delivery date adjustments and the preparation and submission of quotations

• Gather and update information on customers' production plans and new model launches

• Support annual price revisions with customers

• Use various computer programs, CRM, and ERP for data processing and reporting

• Prepare reports and maintain accurate records using Excel and other reporting tools

• Visit customers as required for relationship building and negotiations.


Skills:


• Proficiency in computer programs, CRM, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Experience in data processing and answering inbound calls

• Knowledge of benefit functions, billing functions, and claim administration

• Ability to effectively communicate with clients and prepare reports

• Proficiency in ad hoc reporting and using Epic Software for various tasks.

• Proven experience in the automotive industry, preferably in a customer service role.
• Proficient in computer programs relevant to customer service, such as CRM and data processing tools.
• Familiarity with Epic Software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Experience with 'About Time' software would be advantageous.
• Ability to handle and respond to inbound calls in a professional and timely manner.
• Knowledge of benefit and billing functions, including claim administration.
• Strong client communication skills, with experience in client conversations and reporting.
• Ability to create reports, including ad hoc reporting, to track customer service metrics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer issues efficiently.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and software as required by the role.
