Medical Customer Service Rep
LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Medical Customer Service Rep for our healthcare client located in Melville. This position will be a contract-to-hire opportunity and is 100% onsite during training, and will be a Monday-Friday, full-time position.
This role will be focused on answering a high-volume of inbound phone calls and will be assisting patients with billing inquiries, explaining EOBs, and resolving any claim related issues that patients have. Interested candidates must feel comfortable in a high-volume, call center environment. There is potential to go hybrid after training and proven performance.

Pay Details: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years healthcare call center experience required
- Must be proficient within Microsoft Office and other software systems
- Must have the ability to read and interpret and EOB
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Can meet production metrics as outlined by management team
- Excellent written and verbal communication, especially phone etiquette
- Able to make sound judgment calls and escalate situations appropriately
- Can work well within multiple software sstems
