As an 8 month Temporary Occupancy Specialist you will: Manage the recertification process, ensuring compliance with affordable housing regulations and eligibility for continued occupancy. Process resident applications, including income verifications, and calculate rent levels accurately. Coordinate leasing efforts, including intake, interviews, application processing, and preparation of lease documents. Maintain and update the waiting list, ensuring timely follow-ups and proper documentation. Foster positive resident relationships by providing excellent customer service. Experience Required for Your Success 2 years of property management experience, including recertifications and compliance work. Strong knowledge of affordable housing programs, including LIHTC, Section 8, and federally-assisted housing regulations. Proficiency with property management software (OneSite experience preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and re-prioritize tasks as needed. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Relevant certifications such as C3P, TaCCs, SHCM, or CPO preferred (or willingness to obtain with company support).
