Senior Domain Architect, Corporate Vice President

to lead our architecture practice within the Field productivity value stream. This value stream consists of 40 plus applications with a portfolio size of $50M. In addition to being the lead architect, the role will also govern the Salesforce platform as a shared service between the 6 value streams in New York Life. The role will report to the VP of Technology - Value stream Tech lead and will require close partnership with VS delivery leads, other technology teams, and business partners. The ideal candidate should be able to design systems and solutions across a broad range of technologies including Salesforce, custom applications, and legacy technologies within the context of the Insurance industry. The role requires strong technical acumen and leadership skills to set the architecture vision and strategy for the value stream. Key Responsibilities Maintain inventory of current state technology stack, documentation, and architecture artifacts supporting the value stream. Maintain Value Stream alignment on core target-state ecosystem and corresponding architectural metrics. Declare key technology platforms and identify opportunities for consolidation/simplification of legacy. Develop integrated, multi-year Business/Data/Technology roadmap. Deploy governance and conceptual solution architectures within agile delivery processes. Reinforce product mindset throughout the Value Stream. Design solutions that meet business and technology objectives. Set the architecture vision, strategy, and direction for the value stream. Develop and maintain an architecture roadmap that aligns with the goals of the Field productivity Value Stream. Work closely with other leaders within and outside the Value Stream. Engage in complex initiatives and discovery workshops. Work with various levels of the organization to understand business goals. Present gap analysis and/or IT investment roadmaps with the Value Stream Tech Lead. Coach and develop solution architects and dev ops with deep technical skills. Represent the value stream in architecture review boards and compliance forums. Establish credibility with VS tech leads, delivery leads, and the business. Collaborate with centers for enablement and executives. Knowledge of modern technology ecosystems, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, SOA, APIs, and microservices. Knowledge of information management practices and enterprise architecture frameworks. Adapt to the NYL culture of ‘we’ and be a team player. Education / Training Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is required. Experience 15+ years of experience with Enterprise architecture required. 5+ years of Salesforce architecture experience required. 5+ years in the financial services industry. Proven experience in building an architecture practice. Excellent leadership & communication skills. Salary range:

$225,000-$275,000 Overtime eligible:
