LHH is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our client's finance team. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in accounts receivable management.

The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation.
- Prepare and process journal entries.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documents.
- Assist with monthly and year-end financial closings.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Collaborate with other team members to resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
- Perform general administrative tasks as needed to support the finance department.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in accounting or related field is preferred.
- Previous experience as an accounting clerk or in a similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is a plus.
