LHH is partnering with a manufacturing company in the south Seattle, WA area to identify an Accounting Specialist for their team. You will assist with a variety of tasks in the department so the more accounting experience you have, the better. If you are more experienced, you will handle accountant duties like month end close and journal entries. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of previous accounting experience. This position offers a quick interview process and is a contract to hire position. This role is fully onsite in the office, but free parking is available.

The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:
Main Responsibilities:
- Data entry of invoices and posting payments
- Setting up new vendor accounts
- Processing accounts payable invoices
- Reconciling bank account and balance sheet statements
- Posting journal entries and assisting with month end
- Additional projects as needed
- At least two years of accounting experience
- Ability to adapt and help out where needed
- Previous experience on an ERP software system is preferred
- High attention to detail
- Professional communication skills
- Temporary to hire
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Fully onsite at the office in Seattle, WA
