We are currently seeking an Accounting Assistant for our client located in Irvine.

They are a well-established and growing real estate company and seeking an Accounting Assistant that is highly skilled in multi-tasking, strong organizational skills and eager to learn. 

Great opportunity for degreed accounting professional with 1-2 years of hands on experience.

Pay up to $25 per hour and will be working onsite. 
Temp to Hire Opportunity 

Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Assistant:
  • Will be responsible for supporting the accounting department with accounts payable, operational accounting and administrative duties
  • Responsible for setting up the vendors in the accounting system
  • Handle the bank deposits, including the scanning of checks and manual deposits as needed
  • Assist in generating reports, including the bank statements, weekly bank transactions, stop payments and check images
  • Assist with the audits and gathering an necessary documents
  • Assist with accounts payable functions, including the check runs and handling any returned checks 
  • Manage the AP inbox
Key Requirements for the Accounting Assistant:
  • AA or BA in Accounting desired
  • 1-2 years of hands on operational accounting experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized and a strong team player
  • Intermediate Excel skills (vlookup/pivot tables)
  • Yardi or any large ERP system is a plus
