Established manufacturer, located in the Greater Philadelphia area is looking to staff an Accounting Manager with strong US GAAP knowledge. This candidate will be responsible for managing and monitoring and accounting operations for the organization, which include but are not limited to: overseeing accounts payable/receivable transactions, assisting with the month/year-end close process, overseeing general ledger activities, review general ledger activities, preparing monthly financial reports, prepare and manage corporate budgets and forecasts, and analyzing variances. We are looking for an Accounting Manager with a solid financial analysis skillset, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong understanding of GAAP standards, and the capacity to multi-task while meeting crucial deadlines.


What you get to work on daily

·      Maintain general ledger accounts

·      Account Reconciliation

·      Manage month-end/year-end audits

·      Review monthly accruals

·      Processing accounting adjustments

·      Monitor daily cash receipts

·      Prepare financial statements/reports

The ideal Accounting Manager MUST have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.


Other requirements for the Accounting Manager role include and are not limited to:

·      3+ years of progressive accounting experience

·      Advanced Excel – pivot table, lookup functions, etc.

·      Proven experience with various accounting functions: AP, AR, month-end process, and payroll

·      Sales tax experience preferred

·      Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP
