We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in San Jose, California. The individual will be an integral part of the accounting and finance team, with a focus on Accounts Payable tasks. This role will be instrumental in handling general accounting duties, maintaining a strong AP background, and demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry.
Responsibilities:
• Handling tasks related to Accounts Payable (AP) accurately and efficiently
• Demonstrating a strong background in general accounting principles and practices
• Proficiently managing data entry tasks and maintaining accurate records
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks
• Understanding and applying knowledge of debits and credits in everyday tasks
• Providing support to the accounting and finance department as required
• Ensuring all financial data is up to date
• Resolving any discrepancies or issues related to the accounts payable process
• Assisting in other accounting tasks as needed
• Ensuring all financial information is kept confidential and secure.• Proficiency in General Accounting principles and practices
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel for financial tasks and reporting
• Strong understanding and application of Debit Credit transactions
• Excellent Data Entry skills with an emphasis on accuracy and speed
