We are in the process of recruiting an Accounting Clerk to be based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The selected candidate will be part of our team, operating within the industry, and will be tasked with executing a variety of crucial accounting duties. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process and maintain customer credit applications
• Execute precise data entry duties as pertains to billing
• Conduct regular monitoring of customer accounts and take necessary action when required
• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain accurate records of customer credits
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of all accounting procedures
• Collaborate with team members to improve accounting procedures and maintain best practices
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports as required by the management
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory standards and internal policies
• Continuously update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks.• Must hold a degree in Accounting or a related field
• Proven work experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role
• Familiarity with accounting procedures and time management
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Proficiency in using Billing and Data Entry tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions
• Good understanding of financial and accounting principles
• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
