Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our client in Century City! The Accounting Associate will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with monthly and annual financial reporting.

Responsibilities:
  • Accurately record financial transactions in the company’s accounting system and ensure that all entries are correct and up to date.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, payment preparation, and reconciliation of accounts.
  • Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations as needed.
  • Track and review expenses to ensure they align with budgetary constraints and company policies.
  • Assist in preparing and posting journal entries and adjusting entries as required.
  • Work closely with other departments to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure all financial records are accurately filed and maintained in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting or a related role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of functions such as VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.


Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
