Job Summary: The Accounting Associate will support the finance department by performing a variety of accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting. This role requires a high level of accuracy, organization, and a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Key Responsibilities

  • Process and verify invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
  • Ensure timely payment to vendors and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Generate and send invoices to customers.
  • Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collection.
  • Post and reconcile journal entries and transactions.
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports and statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide support for internal and external audits.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting or a related role, preferably within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong computer knowledge, proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, outlook etc)
  • Effective communication and attention to detail
  • The ability to work well in a team environment and to professionally interact with all members of the organization


    Pay Details: 20.00 to 25.00 per hour
