We are currently recruiting for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This role involves overseeing the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining regulatory compliance within the logistics industry.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the complete accounting function within the Logistics Department
• Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and maintain compliance with relevant regulations
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) process and application
• Oversee the daily and weekly cash management activities for the department and communicate this information to Corporate
• Handle daily uploads of accounting receivable and funding requests to the bank on the AR factoring line of credit
• Provide advice on cash flow, vendor payments, and the receivable dispute process
• Prepare reports and provide recommendations based on financial data
• Leverage strong understanding of GAAP and basics of tax in daily operations
• Utilize QuickBooks and other Microsoft Office applications effectively in managing accounting functions
• Exhibit strong leadership skills in managing the accounting department and its functions
• Supervise and guide the accounting team to ensure efficient operations and adherence to industry standards.

• Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting and Auditing
• Must have a thorough understanding of Accounting Functions
• CPA certification is mandatory
• Experience with Financial Auditing is required
• Previous experience in Audit roles is essential
• Public Audit experience required with strong preference for candidates with Big 4 Audit experience.
• Strong Leadership Skills are required
• Experience in Direct Supervision of a team is necessary
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must
